Another fun evening (minus figuring out traffic and parking) Three new faces (from three new firms) at today's party; happy to say the group is coming along nicely. Good food, excellent Guinness.
Dean refused to listen to some tech investing talk, but some of us were excited about the new venture from the Kazaa/Skype TV (which we unanimously agreed that no one had time to watch). Speaking of TV shows, does anyone remember the best Simpson's episode ever ? Vikas can talk for an hour on this stuff. Aaron dated himself talking about Bob Hart (?) shows. Ben refuses to take up golf, which wasn't much help since Anupendra is looking for brave souls to play 9 holes at 630 am on weekends. John kindly offered to organize the August event at Cottonwood Cafe in Boston. Josh (who did a great imitation of Robin Williams describing the game of golf in a scottish accent!) will see if he can swing a golf event for all of us, and maybe we will convince Ben that he simply has to try it; miniature golf does not translate well. There was some interesting talk about medtech devices but we tried to keep work stuff to a light note. (BTW - Is anyone from Boston going to be in Tel Aviv for BioMed next month ?).
