Another Successful Party

Our third event was the biggest yet. We hit double digits in numbers ! While I was overseas, putting on pounds from some great food, Dean played gracious host to another excellent gathering. I missed the jokes, so I'll skip the commentary.

Dave (Flagship), Josh (Prism) Ben (Fidelity), Kevin (Polaris), Derek (SV) Gina Raimondo (Point Judith), Aaron (Norwich), Scott (Clarus), and a few others showed up. (Sorry - still waiting for Dean to send me the rest of the list). I do want to thank our regulars - Josh and Aaron, who have showed up every time ! Thanks guys...!!

We'll take a break from monthly drinks in July and replace it with a fine american BBQ. Haven't picked a date yet so watch this space. But we'll be back with drinks in August at Cottonwood Cafe (thanks to John Fletcher). We're also starting to work on some golf foursomes. Let me know if you play.

Third Event Invitation

For our third event, we're making two changes. Firstly, we are bringing the party to Boston for the first time. Secondly, we are switching from beers to martinis, from pubs to bars. Match is a hip New York style bar. A number of VCs who haven't come said they want to attend, so we are looking forward to growing the party. Today, we counted 40 VCs in lifesciences in Boston, so as word gets out, the parties should get bigger.

Thanks to Derek Lee at SV Lifesciences for the recommendation ! We know there is tons of parking in the area (we'll provide more info shortly).
