Feb 7: Formula One Event Sponsored by NEVCA

What a race. 70 racers; 14 races, with an oversize contingent of tech VCs. The final race showed Life Sciences VCs can drive ! Doug Farnborough (Oxford), Kevin Bitterman (Polaris) and Derek Lee (SVLS) showed up in the final 12. Doug took pole position and got to drive the checkered flag on the victory lap. Derek did spend some time cooling his heels in the penalty lane for dangerous driving. The money went to Boston Children's Hospital (Amir Nashat and Stephen St. Peter's team). Ed Chan and Anupendra Sharma (SVC), Enrico Picozza and Yumin Choi (HLM), Mark Carthy (Orion) and John McDonald (MPM) also showed up at the races.
